The Scan App with PORTAL gets Live Tracking
With this release it will be possible for Action Center managers to see their
agents' position, live, on a map. The new Live Tracking tab will be activated by default for all Action Centers in the portal. See image 3 down on this page.
By default, Live tracking will be set to on, if the agent has Location Service turned on, on his device.
If Location Service is turned off, Scan App will advise him to turn it on. When the agent is on duty and Live Tracking is enabled, the device will upload Agent's position to Portal, every minute.
The agent controls his privacy, if he wants to be live tracked or not.
If he is off duty, he will not be shown on Action Center's map. Or, he may be on duty, but turned Live tracking off: Scan App will not upload his position.
Live Tracking is an expensive operation and affects device's battery time. On the other hand, we know that most drivers have charging possibilities in their vehicles.
